School Holiday Activities

Yulu-Burri-Ba likes to provide the community with activities during the school holidays to ensure kids are keeping active and busy. This service is only available at our Dunwich clinic.

Deadly Choices Program

Yulu-Burri-Ba aims to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to make healthy choices for themselves and their families – to stop smoking, to eat good food and exercise daily. Deadly Choices also encourages our people to get an annual ‘Health Check’. If something is ‘deadly’ it is great. As such a Deadly Choice is a good choice.

Youth Program

This is an after-hours program provided by mob, for mob who are aged between 12 and 25. Our Youth Program workers provide culturally appropriate activates on NSI from 3:00pm – 7:00pm.

Senior Games

Senior Games program gives our Elders the opportunity to come together to socialise, exercise outdoors, meet new people, and reconnect with those who they may have not seen in years. Games played include darts, quoits, ten pin bowling, hole-in-the-wall, and numbers mat. Teams can compete locally and against teams from different areas within SE QLD.

Walking Group

Please contact your clinic to get information about days and times.
